Network Copilot can analyze the data part and the header of a packet to identify the application generating the traffic and its purpose. It utilizes flow data (e.g., NetFlow, sFlow) to monitor and analyze network traffic patterns and application behaviour and also uses the raw metadata generated by packet broker solutions including Aviz Service Nodes.
