The ONES Bootstrap feature is designed to simplify and accelerate Day-0 operations, allowing you to seamlessly onboard devices that are in ONIE mode and transform them into fully managed infrastructure within minutes.

📂 Upload the Files

Navigate: Admin View >> Files >> (Add the requred files)

Upload the following components to proceed with the bootstrap process:

• ONES Telemetry Agent – Enables device onboarding and telemetry streaming

• ONES Config Agent – Installs FMCLI on the device

• NOS Images – Network OS images to be deployed on the devices

• Config Files – Predefined configuration templates for standardization, .cfg format supported

Ensure all required files are uploaded before initiating the bootstrap workflow.

Steps to deploy

Navigate: Manage >> Bootstrap >> Add

Add Your Devices Upload or define your fabric devices in ONIE mode. (User can add multiple devices)

Select Configuration & Images Choose NOS images, ONES agent, and configuration templates.

Review the Change A quick view to review the changes before deployment

Trigger Bootstrap ONES orchestrates the entire process—no manual intervention required.

Sit Back & Relax ☕ Devices are automatically provisioned, configured, and onboarded.

User needs to make sure port 67 is not being used by other service on ONES Controller
