Port Traffic Aggregation (PTA)

Overview

PTA combines two to four ports into one logical port. Packets sharing a 5-tuple arrive on different member ports reach the same RX queue, CPU core, and deduplication or correlation table. This enables cross-port deduplication and session correlation.

PTA is available only in DC mode.

Restrictions

• DC-only: PTA is automatically disabled with a warning in TELCO mode.

• SIP and RTP are disabled when PTA is enabled.
