Diameter Gx feature inclusion in Control and User exports

Overview
Diameter Gx Metadata Extraction and Export enables the parsing, session tracking, and export of policy and charging control information from Diameter Gx traffic.
Supported Protocols
Diameter Gx processing supports the following:
Transport Protocol: TCP
Supported Ports: 3869, 13869
Diameter Application ID: 16777238 (Gx)
Supported Diameter Commands
ASN supports parsing the following Diameter Credit-Control messages (Command Code: 272):
Credit-Control Request (CCR)
Initial
Update
Termination
Credit-Control Answer (CCA)
Enable or disable Diameter processing
This option enables or disables Diameter processing across the system.
When Diameter processing is disabled:
Diameter packets are not processed.
Diameter GX metadata is not generated.
Diameter GX metadata is not exported to Kafka.
Selective Metadata Export
Users can selectively enable or disable the export of fields from the following Diameter Gx metadata categories:
Diameter
Subscriber Information
Gx
Interface Information
Session Information
Charging Information
Session QoS
Default Bearer QoS
All timestamps are exported in milliseconds.
Platform Limitations
The following limitations apply to this release:
Diameter Gx is not supported in:
vASN mode
vTAP mode
Fragmented or segmented Diameter packets are not supported and are discarded.
Packets are dropped if:
Session-Id AVP is missing.
IMSI information is unavailable.
Scalability
Maximum supported Diameter Gx sessions: 3 million
